Position: Wildlife Field Technician
Department: Wildlife Conservation
Reporting to: Wildlife Field Supervisor

Job Summary:
The Wildlife Field Technician will support the Wildlife Conservation team by assisting in the research, monitoring, and conservation efforts related to wildlife species in their natural habitats. The technician will primarily work in the field, collecting data, conducting surveys, and implementing wildlife management strategies under the guidance of the Wildlife Field Supervisor. The technician will contribute to the overall goals of wildlife conservation, population monitoring, and habitat management.

Responsibilities:
1. Participate in field-based research activities, including but not limited to:

- Conducting wildlife surveys, population assessments, and behavioral observations.
- Monitoring and documenting changes in wildlife populations and habitats.
- Collecting and analyzing biological data, including species identification, measurements, and sample collection.
- Assisting in the deployment and maintenance of wildlife tracking devices.

2. Assist in the implementation of habitat management activities, including:

- Conducting vegetation surveys and monitoring.
- Assisting with the design and implementation of habitat restoration projects.
- Contributing to the maintenance and improvement of wildlife habitats.

3. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all field observations, data collection, and survey results.

4. Assist in the dissemination of research findings through written reports, presentations, and other communication channels.

5. Collaborate with the Wildlife Field Supervisor and other team members to ensure project objectives are met.

6. Adhere to safety protocols and practices during fieldwork to ensure personal and team well-being.

Qualifications and Skills:
1. Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Environmental Science, Biology, or a related field.

2. Demonstrated field experience in wildlife research, conservation, or related areas.

3. Strong knowledge of wildlife species, their behavior, and habitat requirements.

4. Proficiency in conducting wildlife surveys and population assessments, including species identification, sampling techniques, and data collection methods.
